Ashbocking is a parish and scattered village, 7 miles north from Ipswich, 6 east from Needham market and 5 north east from Claydon railway station, in the Eastern division of the county; in the Bosmere Hundred.
The church of All Saints is gothic, the register dates from 1555.
Ashbocking Green is on the main road to the east
